love=time?

when you love someone, you give them your time, right? well if one branch of your love demands all your time, does that mean you have no time for another love? and how do you minimize the time with the love you know is the love that can wait? perhaps this "can-wait" love is simply loving things all wrong. perhaps they could love intertwining-ly. perhaps there's a way for everything to fit together, but altogether, at the SAME time? and perhaps one love is always in the back of your head, living through your other love with you? would you then still be entitled to spending time with that love, or does it automatically "count?"
